About the Authors

Patrick M. Brennan is the John F. Scarpa Chair in Catholic Legal Studies and a Professor of Law at the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. He has regularly taught constitutional law, administrative law, federal courts, criminal law, and a wide range of courses in jurisprudence, law and religion, and political theory. He holds a B.A. in philosophy from Yale College, an M.A. from the University of Toronto, and a J.D. from U.C. Berkeley School of Law.

William S. Brewbaker III is the William Alfred Rose Professor of Law at the Hugh F. Culverhouse, Jr. School of Law at The University of Alabama. He teaches Property, Healthcare Law, and seminars in Christian Legal Thought. His research interests include health care and legal philosophy, including theological perspectives on law. He holds a B.A. from Vanderbilt University, a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and a Masters of Law from Duke University.
